Bowness Townhome

This 1970’s townhome was completely transformed, opening up the main floor to create a functional kitchen, with a beautiful sightline to the river. The original family room was sunken in with an old wood-burning fireplace. Raising this floor allowed us to add a large island and cozy dining area by the new gas fire feature.

We wanted to invite the gorgeous green space and bright sunlight into the front living room of the property. Turning the powder room 180 degrees and removing the kitchen/hallway wall opened up the flow from front to back. Mission accomplished!
