McKenzie Lake Bathroom

This young family purchased this beautiful home in a well-established community and the only areas of the home they wished to change before moving in were the ensuite bathroom and mudroom. The homeowner wished to mix some classic elements of design with a hint of farmhouse style. Removing the hinged door provided additional space for the new curb-less shower while keeping the original layout the same to reduce costs. In order to give this homeowner a double vanity, we opted for small under-mount sinks and a custom flat-panel vanity. Replacing the jet tub with a stand-alone tub gave us that extra few inches we needed for the vanity.

We were able to give this homeowner everything on her wish list without changing the layout or removing shared walls. The glass shower, rustic barn door, and subway tile all come together to create an ensuite that feels much larger!
